Super Bowl San Francisco

super bowlWell, now that Super Bowl 50 is done and dusted but tourists might still remain in the Bay area, what might they want to do if they haven’t gone home yet?

Thankfully an article was published recently by NFL staff writers on their website with a list of ‘Fifty things to do in San Francisco during Super Bowl 50 week.’  Some of the items on the list are traditional things like the cable car, the photo op at the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf and Alcatraz to name but a few.

Then there is the reputation San Francisco has earned over the years as being a place for great restaurants, Chinatown, North Beach, Boudin Bakery, the Japanese Tea Garden and the Ferry Building Marketplace. And then of course there are the museums: Palace of Fine Arts, the Exploratorium, Walt Disney Family Museum, SFMOMA and the Legion of Honor.

This list is just a snippet of all the great things to do and see in the Bay Area.  But what is even more spectacular right now about being in San Francisco are the Bay Lights and the fireworks, bringing light to the region’s famous skyline.

So, football lover or not, for anyone who likes to travel and experience different world cultures, San Francisco right now is one cool place to be.
