Earlier this week, the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce hosted their yearly Warriors Tip-Off Luncheon, which brought together over 500 members of SF’s business community. Tickets to the event (held between 11.30 am and 2.00pm at the Ritz Carlton) were immediately sold out for the “one-of-a-kind chance to dine with the Warriors and members of Dub Nation.”
The popularity of the event should not have come as too much of a surprise though. Thanks to the participation of baseball stars like Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson (as well as the famous Alvin Attles and Adonal Foyle, it was certainly a place at which to be seen.
San Franciscans are hoping that the 2019-20 season will “solidify” the Warriros in the Bay Area for “decades to come.” Given the opening of Mission Bay’s new Chase Center, it is also anticipated that the eastern side of The City will be “further revitalized” with the construction of new cafes, restaurants, public plazas and a 5 ½ acre waterfront park, in turn, providing extremely positive economic reverberations throughout the city.
