Edible Excursions Launches Tours in Support of Japan

Edible Excursions founder Lisa Rogovin plans to offer a unique tour of the Ferry Building Marketplace in support of Japan following the earthquake and tsunami.

In an interview with the San Francisco Examiner, she explained about the tour and Edible Excursions:

Can you talk a bit about Edible Excursions?

We offer culinary tours of the Ferry Plaza Marketplace and farmers market, the Mission District and the Gourmet Ghetto in North Berkeley…

How will Thursday’s tour differ from typical tours?

I’ll personally be leading it, and business owners will do special presentations. Roy Fong of the Imperial Tea Court will talk about the history of tea and offer jasmine tea tasting, and Bo Thompson of the Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant will present unique, rare boutique wines of his choice.”
