Napa Valley Hosts ‘Messiah’ Performance

On Sunday, Napa Valley Symphony, Napa Valley Chorale and singers from St. Helena Chamber will come together at Lincoln Theater to present Handel’s ‘Messiah.’ The director of the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, Ragnar Bohlin, will be conducting, and guest soloists from the chorus will also perform. In total, 140 voices will join in the holiday classic.

The executive director of Lincoln Theater and the Symphony, Richard Aldag, explained that the concert is “an opportunity to create a signature holiday event to bring people together from throughout the valley. We are anticipating that popular demand will encourage us to make this event an annual component of our regular symphony season.”
