October San Francisco Calendar

wineOn the San Francisco calendar for this month are some rather interesting events, catering to a variety of tastes. First, the San Carlos Art and Wine Fair that brings crafts, food, wine and live music to the neighborhood will have over 275 artisans participate.  Starting at 10am and continuing until 6pm, this festival can be found at San Carlos Avenue and Laurel Street.

Another feature on the San Francisco calendar for October is the Italian Heritage Parade, between Fisherman’s Wharf and North Beach.  Enjoy such festivities as food, wine, music and floats, from 12.30pm.  Or for those more interested in exploring Chinese history, the Skylawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park is hosting Chung Yeung festivities, boasting lion dancers and more.

Of course, the San Francisco calendar would not be complete without a family day.  The traditional Italian Zoppe circus is presenting its 2013 show with new acts such as “A Unicycle Built for Two” at 1455 Madison Avenue, at 12pm, 3pm and 6pm. The Litquake Literary Festival has also just started featuring Marcus Books and Iranian Voices.

There is a lot going on during October in San Francisco’s calendar.
